I ♥ math

today is a GREAT day at work :) all my high school students have an all-day math test today (different levels - from the hardest one to the easiest), so all I have to do is sit infront of them and make sure they don't cheat :P
I wish I could do this all the time... I have been able to read blogs, vg.no, surf around, read some webcomics, eat some chocolat - and I get paid doing it! Life is good :)

Snow ^^

Yes, ask and you shall receive I say! :D After talking to you guys about me wishing for snow, I woke up sunday morning to a white landscape! It was great, and set me right into Christmas mood :) It hasn't melted yet, and I'm hoping it will stay until January/Februaryish when I probably will start getting sick of it - and wish for spring :P I love winter, as long as it doesn't last too long!
I'm at work right now, trying to teach my pupils about math... They are not overly excited - I don't understand why... math is fun, isn't it? XD



You should have seen me walking to work today - I think people thought I was crazy or something... Walking around in the deep snow (no fun in walking where the snow has been removed), listening to music and smiling for myself! It was great. Only one thing could have made it better - a cup of warm cofee in my hand!

Dreaming of Christmas

Have you missed me? Haven't been doing much exciting stuff lately - and as always I keep forgetting that I have a blog :P

Updates in my life: I still don't have a job, but if some of the employers of jobs I've applied to reads this - I really, really want the job, and I'm a nice person who works hard and I always do my best :)

When I say that I don't have a job, I mean a job related to my degree! At the moment I work as a math teacher at a local high school, and I tutor some math at the university college. It is kinda fun, and I like to have somthing to fill my days with! But again - It would be great to get a job where I could use some of the stuff I learnt at Uni :P

Right now I'm at the high school, watching the kids having a math test! Algebra is fun, isn't it? ;)

I wish it would snow soon, it's just cold and rain outside! We haven't had a white christmas for years, and a white christmas is made of awesome! It's true!
I'm really looking forward to christmas! I LOVE christmas, but then again - who doesn't?

Another weekend gone by

I’m so sick of the rain… It’s been raining without stop for over a month now! It’s driving me crazy! I have seen the sun maybe two or three days at top lately – I’m probably going to drown walking down the street soon if the rain doesn’t stop :P

Well, enough complaining… Today has been great, even if it rained all day! Silje and I went hiking in Moldemarka, and it was sooo nice! I love autumn… I know so many people hate this season – but I love it! (even if it rains all the time) The coulours, the smells, the sounds – it’s just amazing! We also saw, touched and threw SNOW!!! I love snow, but not this early, I mean – come on! It’s not winter yet! But it was nice seeing it today anyway :)

Shopping in my mum's closet

I promised you a post with some of the clothes I found in my mum's closet, and here it is! I did feel kinda embarrassed when I took the pictures, thank god I was alone in the house! And I feel even more stupid posting all these of pictures of me on this post... I honestly don't understand how all those fashion bloggers do it! well *gathers up courage* here it goes, pictures of me with my new treasures:


This black velvet jacket was in the back of my mum's closet! I LOVE IT!! look at those awesome 80's shoulders... The red clutch was my grandmothers, love that one too!


Thebrown/orange retro suitcase I found among my grandmothers old stuff! I think they planned to trow it away :O The awesome jersey was my mum's - it's from 84, older than me!


This light yellow pencil skirt is SO cute! The brown pleated skirt has the most beautiful rose pattern!


A navy blue skirt with buttons down along the "corners"



I love this cute checked playsuite! I think the buttons makes it perfect!



When I get a job I would love to wear this shirt and pencilskirt in the office! Both have been my mum's!


The skirt and the two dresses aren't from my mum's closet... They are brand new! But I love them so much that I wanted to show them to you anyway :P

Summer of 09

Wow! I really suck at this blog thing, don't I? How long has it been since my last update? A few months? ahahaha... And I'm on my computer every fucking day, so I can't use that as an excuse either! Well, I won't apologise! I have just two or three regular readers anyway ;)

I though I could tell you what I have been doing this summer! It's not much to be honest! I haven't been travelling or seen the world or anything! But I have had an awesome summer so far anyway! You know why? I haven't been working at all! Vacation all summer, how great isn't that? (I have applied for jobs too, but it haven't been to many interesting jobs to apply to... Hope it will get better this fall)

In beginning of summer, after handing in my Masters paper, the weather was amazing! So I spent most days outside working on my tan :)

I also spent a few days with my parent at the family cabin at Lesjaskogsvatnet. It was sunny and warm, and I enjoyed every minute :D Some pictures for you:

I also had a week at Hvasser at Auds amazing cabing with some of the girls from Uni! We're not classmates any more (sadface), but we have decided to try to keep in touch :)
We played Kubb, cards, Settlers, swam in the ocean, hiked and just had fun!

Monkey Island is back

oh my gosh! I'm such a happy little geek right now! ^^ I had to share it with you at once: Monkey Island is back!! My favourite adventure game series ever is BACK! :D I almost cried of happiness when I heard the news! Telltale Games has worked together with Lucas Arts and a new five-part series called Tales of Monkey Island is coming this summer! And as that wasn't enough LucasArts also comes with a rerelase of The Secret of Monkey Island! I could DIE of happiness!!
